From December 9 to 11, 2024, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 52nd session. Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission - chaired the session.
At this Session, the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) reviewed and concluded the following contents:
1- Continue to implement the conclusions of the Central Inspection Commission at the 45th Session for the Party Executive Committee of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the 50th Session for the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Transport and a number of related Party organizations and Party members; based on the Party's regulations, the Central Inspection Commission decided to discipline Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen - former Party Secretary, General Director of the Vietnam Road Administration and report to the competent authority to consider and discipline a number of Party members related to violations and shortcomings at the Dai Ninh Urban Area Project and in personnel work in Lam Dong province.
2- Reviewing the results of the inspection of the implementation of inspection, supervision, and disciplinary tasks within the Party, inspecting the Party's finances for the Standing Committee and the Provincial and Municipal Party Committees' Inspection Commissions; inspecting the declaration of assets and income for cadres under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat in the provinces and cities of Da Nang, Dong Nai, and Ba Ria-Vung Tau, the Central Inspection Commission found that:
In addition to the advantages and achievements, the inspected party organizations and party members also had a number of violations and shortcomings in leadership, direction, organization of inspection, supervision and enforcement of party discipline; in management and use of party finance and assets; and in declaration of assets and income.
The Central Inspection Commission requires inspected party organizations and party members to continue promoting their strengths; seriously review, learn from experience, promptly correct violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.
3- Reviewing the results of supervision of party organizations and party members, the Central Inspection Commission found that in addition to the basic advantages, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committees of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee also had a number of violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leadership, direction, development and implementation of Working Regulations; activities of economic zones at border gates and border openings; in leadership and direction of the Provincial Police in performing assigned functions and tasks; in declaration of assets and income.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committees of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee still have a number of violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leadership, direction, development, and organization of the implementation of Working Regulations; personnel work; management and use of land in non-state budget investment projects; and in asset and income declaration.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Party Secretary, the Deputy Party Secretary of Military Region 4 and the Navy still have a number of violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leadership, direction, development, and organization of the implementation of Working Regulations; personnel work; management and use of land, finance, and assets; implementation of investment projects; performance of assigned tasks; and declaration of assets and income.
The Central Inspection Commission requires the supervised party organizations and party members to continue to promote their strengths, promptly lead and direct serious reviews, draw profound lessons, overcome violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.
4- Also at this Session, the Central Inspection Commission discussed and gave opinions on the summary of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently"; Guidance on personnel work of the inspection committee at party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; on the results of inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in the Party in 2024; reviewing and resolving complaints in 01 case and reviewing and concluding on a number of other important contents.
