Dong Nai starts construction to expand 2 key roads in June

Dong Nai - The Project to Upgrade and Expand 2 roads 769 and 773 aims to connect communes and wards of the city with Long Thanh airport.

On June 4, the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board is accelerating the progress of completing investment procedures to ensure the commencement time of 2 projects to upgrade and expand roads 769 and 773 in June 2026.

The project to upgrade and expand road 769 is nearly 30 km long, with a total investment of more than 6,200 billion VND. The project has its starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay ward, Dong Nai city; the ending point intersecting with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai city.

The project to upgrade and expand road 769 is implemented to increase connectivity and shorten travel time from communes and wards of Dong Nai City and the Central Highlands and South Central Coast provinces in general to Long Thanh airport. From there, meeting transportation needs, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1, contributing to socio-economic development of localities with roads passing through in particular, Dong Nai City and the Southern Key Economic Region in general.

The project to upgrade and expand road 773 has a total length of nearly 40 km, with a total investment of about 4,300 billion VND. The project has its starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), the ending point to Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, shortening travel time from communes and wards of Dong Nai City as well as provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central region to Long Thanh airport; connecting the quadrilateral of Bien Hoa - Long Thanh - Trang Bom - Nhon Trach industrial parks to meet traffic and transportation needs, reducing traffic volume for National Highway 1.
