On June 13, according to information from the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, for the Cai Riverside Road Project, the investor and contractor are striving to carry out rolling construction, completing the project before December 31, 2027.
The Cai River riverside road project has a starting point intersecting with Ha Huy Giap road, and an ending point intersecting with Tran Quoc Toan road. The road has a cross-section of 32m on the entire route, of which the road surface for vehicles is 16m. The total investment of the project is nearly 574 billion VND.
To implement the Cai riverside road project, the total land area to be recovered is nearly 15ha in Tran Bien and Tam Hiep ward.
To date, the area of nearly 5ha in Tam Hiep ward has been fully handed over to the construction unit. Meanwhile, in Tran Bien ward, the handed over area has also reached more than 80% of the total area to be handed over of nearly 10ha. According to Tran Bien Ward People's Committee, in June 2026, the entire site handover for the project will be completed.
The Cai River riverside road project, about 4.6km long, started construction in early February 2026.
According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, currently, the handover of the project construction site has not been fully completed. However, with the handed over area, the contractor has mobilized machinery to construct the drainage culvert item of the road.
The construction of 5 bridges on the route has been implemented before. According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction unit has basically completed the girder guarding and bridge deck slab pouring.
The Cai riverside road project is one of the key projects of Dong Nai city.
