On May 9, wards of Dong Nai city (including Tran Bien, Long Binh, Long Hung, Tam Hiep and Bien Hoa) worked on the preparation of activities to welcome and receive the delegation attending the ceremony to announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai city.
At the working session, localities said that they have been proactive in urban embellishment and environmental sanitation; promoted propaganda in many forms and organized live broadcasting points for people to watch the announcement ceremony.
Previously, on May 7, Dong Nai City People's Committee issued a plan to urban embellishment to welcome Dong Nai city, and at the same time requested to focus resources, accelerate construction progress, and prioritize completing key items for 3 projects before the ceremony to announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai city (including the project to invest in the construction of Huong Lo 2 extended road (Section 1 - Phase 1), the project to build the central road of Bien Hoa City, the section from Vo Thi Sau street to Dang Van Tron street, and the project to repair National Highway 51, the section from Km0+000 to Km5+300).
Dong Nai City People's Committee requests the Department of Construction to organize the implementation of cleaning, sanitation, and embellishment of roads under its management, accelerate progress, and urge the construction of the above 3 projects.
For the City Land Fund Development Center, organize sanitation, cleaning, and clearing of land areas under management. Implement barriers to ensure safety, decorate panels and banners to create urban aesthetics and serve propaganda to celebrate the establishment of Dong Nai city; Road Management Zone 4 organizes the implementation of cleaning, sanitation, and embellishment of National Highway 1 section from Dong Nai bridge to Vung Tau intersection.
Dong Nai City People's Committee also requested People's Committees of communes and wards to renovate roads; manage and operate public lighting systems; take care of and prune green trees under management, ensuring safety and urban aesthetics. It is expected that the announcement ceremony of the National Assembly's resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai city will take place on the evening of May 18 at Long Hung ward square, Dong Nai city.
