Transportation project changes the urban face of a super ward in Dong Nai
Tran Bien ward is likened to a "super ward" of Dong Nai city with a scale of about 200,000 people. This is a key area that is implementing a series of strategic and key projects to embellish Dong Nai city.
In the past time, Tran Bien ward has developed rapidly in terms of urbanization, commerce, services and infrastructure.
Key inter-regional transport projects such as: Dong Nai riverside road project, central road axis project (from Vo Thi Sau street to Dang Van Tron street) create a modern riverside transport axis, strengthening urban connectivity with Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Tran Bien Ward People's Committee, currently, the ward is continuing to urgently implement the Cai riverside road project to help improve the urban appearance and solve the urban traffic problem.
The Cai River riverside road project has a total length of nearly 4.6 km, starting point intersecting with Ha Huy Giap road, ending point connecting to Tran Quoc Toan road passing through Tam Hiep and Tran Bien wards, with a total investment of 574 billion VND, expected to be completed in February 2027.
Waiting for super projects to deploy construction
Besides the transportation projects that have been and are being implemented, in Tran Bien ward, a series of large projects are also being implemented along the Dong Nai River such as: Hiep Hoa urban area (area of more than 290ha, total investment of more than 72,000 billion VND) to invest in building an urban area that harmonizes traditional and modern values, contributing to building a new image of Cu Lao Pho, which is a symbol of Bien Hoa cultural city.
The project has been approved for the detailed urban planning project at a scale of 1/500.
The AeonMall Trade Center and Office for Lease project, over 11ha wide, was launched on January 10, 2025, and to date, according to records, the project site is ready for construction.
The project is expected to welcome 10 million visitors/year, providing high-end products, international standards... becoming a highlight of the urban landscape of Dong Nai and an attractive shopping destination for people in Dong Nai city.
In addition, the project to convert the function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park with a scale of 329ha into an urban - commercial - service area through Tran Bien ward has basically completed site clearance.
The Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line connecting with the Political - Administrative Center of Dong Nai city in Tran Bien ward will create a high-speed public transport axis connecting Ho Chi Minh City, forming a new economic corridor connecting major centers (Bien Hoa, Long Thanh)...
