Vieng Market is a lucky market, held only once a year on the night of the 7th and early morning of the 8th of January.
Although this year's Vieng market took place at the beginning of the week, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the evening of February 4 (the 7th day of the first lunar month), on the streets, tourists flocked, including people from the Central provinces such as Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa... also eagerly came to experience this unique market.
Many people believe that when going to Vieng market, they can stroll around all afternoon on the 7th, and from midnight on the 8th they can buy things because that is the time to "buy luck, sell bad luck".

In addition to Vieng Phu market, since this afternoon (February 4), Vieng Chua market (Nam Giang town, Nam Truc district) also has many people coming to enjoy spring and "buy luck, sell bad luck".
