Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that on October 29, the Standing Committee of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee held a conference to deploy and disseminate the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The conference was held directly and online at 295 locations across the province, with more than 33,300 delegates attending.
At the conference, Mr. Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee thoroughly grasped the topic "P Party building and the political system". Mr. Thang informed that the task in the coming time is to focus on implementing Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW, dated November 17, 2022, of the 6th Central Conference, term XIII, on continuing to innovate the Party's leadership and governance methods for the political system in the new period.
In particular, focusing on innovating the promulgation and implementing the Party's resolutions in a concise, specific, easy-to-understand, easy-to-remember, easy-to-implement manner; upholding the principles of democratic centralism, solidarity, unity, discipline and order of the Party; enhancing the core role of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in promoting the people's mastery and the strength of great national unity;...
Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thoroughly grasped the "Economic situation, socio-economic tasks and national defense and security". Accordingly, the Congress Resolution sets out 14 main targets, including 04 economic targets, 05 cultural and social targets, 03 environmental targets and 02 targets for Party building work; along with 05 strategic breakthroughs.
Mr. Quang said that right after the Congress, the province urgently developed an Action Program for the entire course, clearly identifying the key tasks that need to be done immediately and completely.
In particular, Dong Thap identified 06 key groups of tasks and solutions: Continuing to improve the legal basis, operating mechanism and planning - Creating space and development momentum; Promoting investment and developing synchronous and modern infrastructure; Developing businesses and the private sector, promoting startups, innovation; Transforming the growth model in depth, based on science, technology and innovation; Developing human resources and culture of Dong Thap; Ensuring social security, national defense - security and sustainable development.
