On October 28, Mr. Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - chaired the Conference of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (appointment) on the organization of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Dong Thap province, term 2025 - 2030.
At the conference, delegates approved the contents on the organization of the Congress. The Congress is expected to take place over 2 days, from December 4 to 5, 2025, at the Dong Thap Provincial Convention Center. There were 350 official delegates and 119 invited delegates attending the Congress.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province Phan Van Thang suggested that provincial socio-political organizations, mass associations, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the commune level actively respond to emulation movements launched by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, focusing on organizing many good and meaningful activities; many practical and extensive works and tasks to residential areas...
Thereby, creating a strong influence and mark in the entire system, receiving the consensus, support and participation of the people, the highlight is the activity of self-management models in the residential community, "Grand Unity Day for the Community".
Mr. Thang also paid special attention to the preparation work. In which, it emphasizes the strong and comprehensive application of digital transformation; the choice of presentations at the congress must be diverse in content and representative. At the same time, the Congress Subcommittees are required to seriously absorb comments and apply them appropriately to complete the draft documents submitted to the Congress.
