After the collision between a tourist boat and a motorboat in Lan Ha Bay, Cat Hai special zone, Hai Phong city, which killed Ms. N.T. N., leaders of Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province visited, encouraged and supported the family of Mr. Dang Ho Nam (residing in Luong village, Nghia Tru commune), the victim's husband, to share the loss and help the family overcome immediate difficulties.
According to information from the family, on the morning of June 14, Mr. Nam's family of 11 went to sea for tourism. At about 8:40 am on the same day, a large tourist boat carrying 31 passengers collided with a motorboat carrying 11 members of Mr. Nam's family, causing the boat to sink.
Immediately after the incident, vehicles operating near the area coordinated to rescue all victims and bring them ashore for emergency treatment. Among the victims, Ms. N.T. N. was taken to Cat Hai Medical Center in a state of shortness of breath, unconsciousness but did not survive, and died at about 9:10 am on the same day.
According to Mr. Dang Ho Nam, his wife knew how to swim and wore a life jacket, but the strong impact from the tourist boat caused her to suffer chest injuries and faint immediately afterwards.

Up to now, the health of the remaining family members has stabilized.
At the victim's family, on behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Tru commune, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee and leaders of the Department of Culture and Society cordially inquired, shared the loss, sent deep condolences to the family and hoped that their loved ones would soon overcome the pain and stabilize their lives.
On this occasion, leaders of Nghia Tru commune supported the victim's family with 20 million VND to share the immediate difficulties. Nghia Tru commune authorities will continue to monitor, care for and provide necessary spiritual support as well as other conditions to help the family overcome the loss soon and stabilize their lives.
