At the waste collection and landfill area in Phu Thu 2 residential group, Nhi Chieu ward, Hai Phong city, ward functional forces discovered Ms. Le Thi Ngoc, residing in the locality, committing the act of burning about 50kg of ordinary solid waste. This act violates regulations on environmental protection and waste treatment.
Based on current regulations, the People's Committee of Nhi Chieu Ward issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Ms. Le Thi Ngoc with a fine of 2 million VND. At the same time, the violator must implement remedial measures according to the provisions of law.
According to Nhi Chieu Ward People's Committee, the timely detection and handling of solid waste burning in the wrong places contributes to improving the effectiveness of state management of the environment in the area.
This is also a measure to deter and remind people to raise awareness in sorting, collecting and treating waste in accordance with regulations, limiting environmental pollution and affecting the daily life of the community.
