During the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday, members of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Khuong Dinh Ward (Hanoi) still maintained working regimes to ensure the progress of the Ring Road 2.5 construction investment project, Nguyen Trai section (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong.
During this time, the Council members focused on reviewing and comparing legal documents, inventorying assets, completing and adjusting, supplementing the draft plan for compensation, support, and resettlement (which has been publicized) of the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, ensuring accuracy, publicity, transparency and compliance with legal regulations.
Working throughout the Lunar New Year shows a high sense of responsibility, determination to accelerate the progress of site clearance and minimize arising problems.
Mr. Nguyen Sy Doan, Chairman of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee, Chairman of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council, directly maintains the regime of being on duty, receiving citizens, listening to opinions, recommendations, and proposals related to the draft plan.
With a spirit of receptiveness, frankness and responsibility, Mr. Nguyen Sy Doan and the members of the Council exchanged specific contents that people are interested in such as: Determining the origin of land, recovered area, policies to support stable living, temporary housing rental support, as well as conditions and criteria for resettlement arrangement.
At citizen receptions, many opinions and recommendations were answered immediately based on current regulations and actual records. For cases that need further verification, the Council has assigned specialized officials to inspect and review all records, ensuring the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people. The general spirit is not to let errors occur, not to let people be disadvantaged, and at the same time ensure discipline and compliance with legal regulations.
Proactively working throughout Tet, directly dialoguing and exchanging with citizens has contributed to creating consensus and trust among the people, limiting prolonged petitions and lawsuits. Thereby, the progress of the Ring Road 2.5 project section passing through Khuong Dinh ward has been actively promoted, creating a premise for the project to be implemented soon according to plan.
In the coming time, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Khuong Dinh ward will continue to update and complete the plan based on people's contributions and actual review results; and at the same time strengthen propaganda, publicity, and transparency of information so that people understand the guidelines and policies, and join hands for the goal of synchronous and modern infrastructure development of the Capital.
The Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, has a length of 1,520m, a cross-section scale of 40m of roadbed. The project is invested by Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee, with a total investment of 2,433 billion VND.
According to the report of the Khuong Dinh Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board, the Ring Road 2.5 project passing through the ward has a total recovered area of more than 60,900 m2, involving 736 cases, including organizations and households, and individuals.
For 36 cases according to Decision No. 15/QD-UBND dated January 24, 2003, the plan was approved from the previous phase, the Ward People's Committee has promoted propaganda, mobilization and completed the demolition and handover of the site.
