On February 4, Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) said that it had organized a conference to collect opinions from households and individuals on the draft plan for compensation, support, and resettlement when the State recovers a part of the land area to implement the Ring Road 2.5 construction investment project from Nguyen Trai (National Highway 6) to Dam Hong.
The conference is organized publicly and democratically to promptly inform and answer people's recommendations, creating consensus in the land clearance process.
According to the report of the Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board, the Ring Road 2.5 Project in Khuong Dinh ward has a total recovered area of more than 60,900 m2, involving 736 cases, including organizations and households, and individuals.
Up to now, site clearance work has achieved many positive results.
For 36 cases according to Decision No. 15/QD-UBND dated January 24, 2003, the plan was approved from the previous phase, the Ward People's Committee has promoted propaganda, mobilization and completed the demolition and handover of the site.
On January 20 and January 27, the Ward People's Committee publicly announced 253 draft plans for compensation, support, and resettlement in accordance with procedures.

At the conference, there were 39 opinions and recommendations from people mainly focusing on land compensation prices, land support policies, construction works, resettlement, other supports and population issues.
Representatives of professional departments and divisions directly exchanged and clarified the legal basis and policies applied according to the 2024 Land Law, decrees of the Government and regulations of the Hanoi People's Committee, thereby helping people understand their rights and obligations when the State recovers land.
Speaking to direct the conference, Mr. Vo Dang Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khuong Dinh ward affirmed: Organizing the collection of people's opinions is an important step to ensure publicity and transparency, and at the same time show the receptiveness of grassroots authorities in the process of implementing key projects of the City.
The Ward People's Committee is committed to continuing to review and fully synthesize the opinions and legitimate recommendations of the people to report to competent authorities for consideration and adjustment of compensation, support, and resettlement plans in accordance with regulations and practice.
