On September 20, according to the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center, so far the Ring Road 4 Project of Ho Chi Minh City through the area has handed over 223.83ha of land, reaching a rate of more than 74.2%.
Previously, on June 30, Component Project 1-2: Compensation, support, resettlement and construction of service roads and side roads on the city's territory under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project was started, with a total investment of about 10,049 billion VND. After the project was started, construction packages No. 30, 32 and 33 of component project 1-2 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 were signed; the contractor has approached the site, received land handover to deploy camps and operating houses to ensure conditions for construction.
In addition, Component Project 2-2: Construction of the expressway section from Chau Duc bridge to Thu Bien bridge (including Thu Bien bridge) under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project, with a total investment of about 16,270 billion VND, is also completing procedures to start construction.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project passes through 9 communes and wards of Dong Nai City including: Xuan Duong, Xuan Que, Dau Giay, An Vien, Binh An, Hung Thinh, Trang Bom, Binh Minh, Tan An, the total length of the entire route is more than 46km.
According to the schedule, the entire project will be completed in 2029.
Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 is one of the important national transport infrastructure projects, connecting the Southeast region with the Southwest region and the Central Highlands; connecting industrial parks, urban areas, seaports, and airports; creating new development momentum for the Southern key economic region.
For Dong Nai City, the project is a driving force to expand development space, restructure the urban system, promote industrial, logistics, trade and service development; at the same time, create conditions for the effective exploitation of Long Thanh airport, seaport system and inter-regional transport network.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project has a total length of about 207 km, passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh.
