Road expansion project to 53m in Hanoi completes after 15 years

    Hanoi - The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 1A, Van Dien - Ngoc Hoi section (Km185 - Km189) 3.8km long, with a capital of 887 billion VND, has been completed after 15 years of construction.

    The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 1A, Van Dien - Ngoc Hoi section (Km185 - Km189), Hanoi City is a group B project, level I project.

    The project has a total length of 3.8km, a cross-section of 46-53m, including renovation and upgrading of the foundation, road surface, drainage, technical trenches, lighting, sidewalks, green trees, and traffic organization.

    The project has a total investment of 887.735 billion VND (of which construction costs are 297.614 billion VND).

    Project implementation time: 2011 - Q1/2026.

    Regarding the capital plan, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the accumulated disbursement to the beginning of April 2026 is 774.074 billion VND. Capital has not been allocated in 2026.

    Regarding the implementation situation, the project was completed in the first quarter of 2026 in accordance with the direction of the Hanoi Party Secretary in Notice No. 144-TB/TU dated December 22, 2025.
