By May 2024, Thuong Tin District People's Committee (the investor) organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Duong Truc Nguyen overpass project. After the operation of the 2-level government model, the project was transferred to Thuong Tin commune as the investor.

According to Lao Dong's records, after more than 1.5 years of construction, the Duong Truc Nguyen overpass project has revealed its shape.

The beam across National Highway 1A and the North-South railway corridor is an important item of the Duong Truc Nguyen overpass project that has been completed by the contractor.

Currently, the construction area does not affect people's traffic.

On the construction site, many workers are mobilized to construct the concrete construction item of the bridge deck. The access road item and some other items will also be deployed by the contractor in the near future.

Living in the central area of Thuong Tin district (old), now Thuong Tin commune for decades, Mr. Le Van Hai (56 years old) has often witnessed traffic jams as well as traffic accidents at the intersection of National Highway 1A - Duong Truc Nguyen road.

Therefore, when starting construction of the Duong Truc Nguyen overpass, he himself and many people in the commune were very excited.

I hope the project will be completed soon so that traffic is convenient, congestion is reduced, and the local appearance will also have a big change" - Mr. Hai said.
