On February 11, Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) said that it had organized a Conference to approve the Plan to protect the construction of the project to invest in renovating and upgrading National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section through the commune.
At the conference, leaders of the Commune Economic Department presented the Draft Plan for protecting construction and site clearance to implement the project to expand National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section through Doi 3 village, Phu Nghia commune.
According to the Draft, the construction protection organization time takes place in 1 day, starting from 8 am on February 13, to create conditions for the investor to level the ground and organize construction for the public land area in Cua Chua area, Doi 3 village.
The construction protection location is at land plot No. 01, map sheet No. 07; land plot No. 52, map sheet No. 02, belonging to the map serving compensation, support and resettlement at a scale of 1/500 of the project.
It is expected that the force participating in protecting the construction will be 43 people. The investor prepares sufficient vehicles and personnel, ensuring construction and site management after handover.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on construction protection plans, arranging forces, vehicles, solutions to maintain the boundaries of the construction area, medical work, grasping public opinion, as well as promoting information and propaganda to create consensus among the people...
Concluding the Conference, Vice Chairman of Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee Tran Van Son assigned the Commune Police to develop a plan to protect and mobilize grassroots security forces to participate; The Economic Department to complete the Construction Protection Plan, accompanied by a Notice of response to the petitions of related households in Doi 3 village, and at the same time coordinate with the Party Secretary, Village Head, Fatherland Front Work Committee and mass organizations to inform and propagate to the people.
Mr. Tran Van Son agreed on the time to concentrate forces at 7:30 am on February 13 and requested forces and vehicles participating in protecting construction and site clearance to perform tasks according to plan, in accordance with regulations, ensuring security and order, safety and maintaining the boundary of the area after construction.
National Highway 6 is a vital axis, connecting Hanoi with Hoa Binh (now Phu Tho) and the Northwest provinces. In fact, National Highway 6 passing through Hanoi has deteriorated and been overloaded for many years, frequently causing congestion and traffic accidents.
To solve the above situation, at the end of 2022, the Hanoi People's Committee started the project to expand National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section with a length of about 21.7 km.
The starting point of the project is at km14 in Ba La district, Ha Dong district (now Yen Nghia ward); the ending point is km38, Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district (now Xuan Mai commune).
The project has 5 construction packages, including items: Synchronous construction of road surface foundation, water supply and drainage, technical cable trenches, lighting, green trees, 8 road bridges, 1 newly built box culvert.
The project has a total investment of over 9,590 billion VND, implemented in the period 2022-2027.
