On the afternoon of November 4, Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc, Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to assess the progress and discuss solutions to speed up site clearance (GPMB) for key projects in Dong Kinh ward.
According to the report of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Ly Thai To extended road project and the residential and resettlement area of Lang Son City have a implementation area of 24.51 hectares, involving 550 households, 4 organizations and 3 communities.
Currently, only 2.6 hectares have been handed over, not meeting the requirements for construction.
For the Ky Cung River embankment project, the total length is 2.97 km, of which 2.05 km belongs to the old Lang Son city and 0.92 km belongs to the old Loc Binh town.
The project has reclaimed more than 52.4 hectares of land, has counted and completed compensation records for 109 households and 2 organizations, reaching 100%. To date, 32 households have handed over the site with a total area of over 13.4 hectares, equivalent to 25.7%.
At the Lang Son Provincial Sports Complex project (including a central stadium and a multi-purpose gymnasium), the land area used is about 29 hectares.
Up to now, the authorities have prepared compensation and support records for 143/200 households, equivalent to 15.8 hectares.
For the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway project (section through Dong Kinh ward), the measurement, counting and compensation payment work has been 100% completed. However, there are still 12 households that have not been relocated, affecting the progress of site handover.
Concluding the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Huu Hoc emphasized the requirement for relevant units to clearly define individual responsibilities in each stage of work, ensuring proactiveness and close coordination.
He proposed to strengthen propaganda and mobilization work for people, clarify support and compensation policies to create social consensus.
At the same time, the provincial leaders requested the assignment of cadres with appropriate experience and expertise to participate in site clearance work; develop response scenarios to arising situations; implement a weekly reporting regime clearly stating progress, results, difficulties, and recommendations.
Agencies and units need to promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to ensure implementation progress, serving the goals of urban infrastructure development and local socio-economic development.
