The low pressure trough with an axis through the North Central region is active, and from around July 3-4, it will gradually weaken. Above, the southern branch of the subtropical high pressure has an axis through the South China Sea, from July 3 it will gently encroach to the West through the South. The southwest monsoon will operate at medium intensity.
The weather in the South will be cloudy to cloudy, sunny during the day, with intermittent sunshine during the day; there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with moderate rain in some places, locally heavy rain (concentrated in the afternoon and evening).
Particularly from July 2-3 and from July 6-8, there will be rain in many places, with some places having moderate to heavy rain. The highest temperature is generally 31-34 degrees Celsius; the lowest temperature is 25-27 degrees Celsius.
During thunderstorms, it is necessary to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning, gusts of wind, hail that can endanger people and property damage; be on guard against heavy rain and localized heavy rain that can cause deep flooding on some roads in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City.
Total weekly rainfall is approximately equal to or higher than the average of many years in the same period with total rainfall generally ranging from 60-120 mm, some places over 120 mm.
