Recently, the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province issued document No. 3347/PA-SGTVT, outlining a plan to demolish the remaining spans and pillars of Phong Chau bridge (mainly the part belonging to Phung Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district).
According to the document, after preparing the demolition site, based on the actual situation, it is expected to mobilize many means of transportation and dismantling such as: 7-10 excavators with pliers, hydraulic hammers, 2 160-ton cranes; many types of specialized hand-held machines...
Regarding human resources, it is expected to mobilize from 30 to 40 people to organize 2 construction teams (team 1 on Lam Thao district side to handle span 1-5, team 2 on Tam Nong district side to handle span 8). Depending on the actual conditions of the demolition, more human resources will be mobilized to ensure progress.
In terms of time, the total expected construction progress from site preparation to completion of site clearance, acceptance and handover of completed demolition work at the site is about 45 days.
The estimated implementation cost is nearly 8.5 billion VND, calculated based on the estimated implementation time; implementation volume; number of human resources, machinery, and equipment actually deployed at the site according to the prescribed norms and unit prices, and some estimated norms proposed by Truong Son Construction Corporation. The implementation value is determined based on the demolition estimate plan approved by the competent authority and the approved final settlement value of the project.
