Tourist with cramps while swimming in Cua Lo sea rescued

Nghe An - Staff of the Search and Rescue and Natural Disaster Prevention Center of Cua Lo ward promptly swam to the sea to rescue a male tourist who had cramps.

On March 9, the Search and Rescue and Natural Disaster Prevention Center of Cua Lo ward (Nghe An province) confirmed that an employee of the unit had just promptly rescued a male tourist who had an accident while swimming in the sea.

Previously, on March 8, at the beach in Cua Lo ward, a male tourist suddenly had cramps while swimming and could not continue swimming ashore.

At the time of the incident, the sea waves were quite large, causing the victim to fall into a state of struggling and constantly crying for help in the sea.

Discovering the incident, Mr. Dang Van Tu - an employee of the Search and Rescue and Natural Disaster Prevention Center of Cua Lo ward - immediately rushed into the sea and quickly swam to the victim's location.

After a few minutes of struggling in the big waves, Mr. Tu approached and pushed and helped the male tourist ashore safely.

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Director of the Search and Rescue and Natural Disaster Prevention Center of Cua Lo ward - said that as soon as he discovered a tourist in distress in the sea, Mr. Tu quickly swam out to approach the victim. In quite strong waves, he supported and brought the victim ashore safely.

After being brought ashore, the tourist quickly stabilized his health.

The clip recording the incident was then shared on social networks, attracting the attention of many people. Many opinions expressed admiration for the courageous actions and timely response of the rescue workers.
