On April 14, Mr. Hoang Viet Trung - Director of the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Preservation Center said that the unit has synchronously implemented many solutions to modernize the ticket sales system at tourist attractions in the Hue Ancient Citadel Relic Complex to improve service quality and reduce waiting time for tourists.
Accordingly, the electronic ticket system is upgraded with many utilities such as supporting 3 languages (Vietnamese, English, Korean), integrating a variety of cashless payment methods and 24/7 operation. The application of technology helps tourists easily access, while improving the efficiency of management and regulating the number of visitors, especially during peak seasons.
During holidays and Tet, when the number of visitors increases, the Center recommends that tourists and travel agencies prioritize buying tickets online before visiting to limit queuing, proactively schedule and use QR codes when passing through the control gate.
In addition, the unit encourages promoting non-cash payments such as scanning QR codes, e-wallets, bank cards or payment via POS machines at relic sites.
At crowded points such as Hue Citadel and king mausoleums (Tu Duc, Khai Dinh, Minh Mang), the Center proposes to strengthen guidance for tourists to use electronic tickets; in cases where tickets have not been booked in advance, priority is given to cashless payments to shorten transaction times.
The Center also hopes that relevant agencies and units will coordinate in propaganda and promptly respond to technical issues so that the system operates effectively.
The deployment of electronic tickets and cashless payments is expected to contribute to building a civilized and modern Hue tourism image, improving the experience for tourists.
