Hai Phong - During the September 2 holiday, Hai Phong spicy bread stores are always bustling, unable to sell in time.

On the morning of September 1, Lao Dong reporter recorded that Hang Kenh quarter (Le Chan ward) - where dozens of spicy bread shops are more crowded than usual. At the K.N spicy bread shop - one of the famous spicy bread brands in Hai Phong, buyers lined up in long lines waiting to buy famous bread and spring rolls in Hai Phong. In addition, dozens of store staff are busy sticking the parts to the cakes to serve customers as quickly as possible.

A representative of K.N sticky rice store said that every day, the store sells tens of thousands of spicy bread, during the holiday season alone, the amount of bread sold is many times more than usual, with customers buying thousands of cakes as gifts. Despite the increase in quantity, the shop still focuses on quality, ensuring that each cake delivered to customers is fragrant, delicious, and hygienic.

Ms. Thu Hoai, a tourist from Ninh Binh, waited for more than 30 minutes to buy 12 boxes of pangasius (12 kg) and 400 bread before leaving for a family visit and a party in the capital Hanoi during the holiday season. "The whole family is "addicted" to Hai Phong spicy bread, so I traveled nearly 200 km through Hai Phong to buy bread before continuing my journey to Hanoi. This dish is currently sold in provinces and cities, but for me, buying it in Hai Phong is still the most suitable, fragrant and delicious" - Ms. Hoai shared.

According to Mr. Long, a tourist from Thanh Hoa, after a day of a Hai Phong food tour, Mr. Long and his friends took the opportunity to buy spicy bread as gifts for the people. Mr. Long said: "It's very attractive to queue up to buy cakes and watch the girls make cakes and patties. The scent of pangasius is delicious, the steps to make the cake are relatively neat and clean. So even if I have to wait a little longer, I feel comfortable."

In addition to the specialty of pangasius and spicy bread, many tourists do not forget to bring as gifts a typical gift of Hai Phong, which is a mixed moon cake and sticky rice cake on Cau Dat street. It is known that since the beginning of the 7th lunar month, bakery shops on Cau Dat street have been bustling, with the number of customers increasing sharply compared to normal days, although the price of cakes has increased from 10,000 VND/piece. According to Lao Dong reporters, the price of baked cakes at the famous D.P bakery in Hai Phong ranges from 65,000 VND/piece to 245,000 VND/piece. However, many people still buy this specialty because they "love it". Ms. Phuong Mai, a guest in Bac Ninh, shared that although the price of the cakes is quite high, every year her family buys a few boxes to enjoy and give to relatives. "The September 2 holiday is also close to the full moon day of the 7th lunar month, so I bought 3 boxes and 12 ones to burn incense for the ancestors, as gifts" - Ms. Mai said.
