Previously, Xanh Pon General Hospital had made a detailed plan and arranged additional personnel to be on duty, to ensure timely care and treatment for patients.
According to the assignment of tasks by the Hanoi Department of Health, the Hospital has arranged 2 medical teams to be on duty (each team has 5 people, including 2 doctors, 2 nurses, 1 reserve nurse), 2 teams of ambulances (each team has 2 doctors, 2 nurses, 1 driver) and 3 reserve teams (each team has 2 doctors, 2 nurses) to be on duty at the hospital.
At the Hospital, the Emergency Department becomes an emergency center for the entire Ba Dinh Square area, all patients are taken from duty points, from medical tents, to hospitals, including Xanh Pon General Hospital - the nearest location.
The number of patients is on the rise
The hospital representative said that the hospital has developed a detailed plan, 50% out of the total number of hospital staff participating in the on-duty, especially the resuscitation and emergency care units. Departments and rooms arranging bed sheets are ready to receive patients.
The emergency command board includes the Head of the Emergency Department (general commander), the head nurse of the Emergency Department, and doctors on duty for Surgery, Internal Medicine - Pediatrics. In addition, the multidisciplinary teams include many ECMO teams, Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Phosphate Electricity, Broken - Trauma, Bustling; Interventional digestive endoscopy team; TMH - Eye - RHM team. Specialized specialists are on duty in teams to prepare. 5 ambulances are ready to respond to the mission.
"We have had 2 training sessions, 1 preliminary review session, 1 general review session, and 4 practical sessions, all of which have completed basic tasks, ready to perform tasks on the main day of the A80 festival" - the hospital representative shared with Lao Dong reporter.
During the days of synthesis, preliminary examination, and final examination, the Hospital receives about 20 - 30 patients per day. However, today (September 1, 2025), the number of patients tends to increase, mainly hospitalized patients with symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, fainting due to lack of oxygen, suffocation, there are cases of patients with underlying diseases being hospitalized for chest pain who have been hospitalized for inpatient treatment...
The hospital has arranged 3 emergency areas (sorting, resuscitation, stabilization - transfer); has a plan to have multiple surgeries at the same time and activate the internal red alert system.
