On April 18, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District said that it is actively collecting public opinions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the area.
Accordingly, immediately after the Hanoi People's Committee issued Instruction No. 02/HD-UBND dated April 17 on organizing the collection of public opinions and through People's Councils at all levels on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the city, Ba Dinh District directed wards to establish People's Committee on the arrangement of commune-level and ward-level administrative units in the residential group.
The team to collect opinions in the district will assign members to go to households to distribute votes to voters representing households to collect opinions. The time to complete the consultation with the people in Ba Dinh district is no later than April 21.
With the current 13 wards, Ba Dinh district plans to establish Ba Dinh ward, Ngoc Ha ward, Giang Vo ward based on the area and population of 12 wards: Quan Thanh, Truc Bach, Dien Bien, Doi Can, Cong Vi, Lieu Giai, Vinh Phuc, Ngoc Ha, Thanh Cong, Giang Vo, Ngoc Khanh, Kim Ma.
For Phuc Xa ward, it is expected to be merged with commune-level administrative units of other districts to form a new commune-level administrative unit.
