According to the Management Board of Tuyen Quang Province Tourist Areas, on the first day of the 30.4-1.5 holiday in 2025, Tan Trao Special National Monument welcomed over 44,000 visitors, a sudden increase compared to previous years.
Among these, many groups of students come to Tan Trao to learn about the history of the nation, learn about the origin, and to better understand the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations.
Having been to New Trao many times, Ly Thanh Hoa, an 8th grade student in Chiem Hoa district (Tuyen Quang) is still very excited: "Almost every year the school organizes for us to visit New Trao, every time I come here, I get to understand more about the history and contributions of Uncle Ho to the country".
Many student groups from other provinces are also very excited to come to Tan Trao. Ms. Tran Thu Hang, a teacher in Hanoi, said that although it is a holiday, most parents agree to let their children go to the source at Tan Trao Relic Site to learn about revolutionary history.
"This trip of teachers and students is even more meaningful when it is the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification and preparation for the 80th anniversary of our country's National Day. The children are all very excited and interested in history," Ms. Hang shared.

Coming to Tan Trao, visitors will be able to visit and learn about many places that were associated with the activities of President Ho Chi Minh and the Party Central Committee in the period before 1945 as well as the period of the resistance war against France such as Tan Trao City Monument, Hong Thai Communal House, Tan Trao Communal House, Lan Na Nua...
Currently, Tuyen Quang has more than 650 historical, cultural and scenic relics. Of which, 182 relics have been ranked nationally and 259 relics have been ranked provincial level. Tan Trao historical relic site is one of two relics ranked as a special national relic and is considered a "red address" on the journey back to the source.
Mr. Vien Ngoc Tan - Deputy Director of Tan Trao Museum, in 2025, with a long holiday, combined with a series of events of Tuyen Quang Provincial Tourism Year 2025, the Relic Site will build many new and attractive tourism products.

"For the first time, we launched the tour "Ancient War Zone - New Experience" while continuing to emphasize nostalgic tourism, associated with the historical values hidden in each relic. This has brought a lot of information and experience to tourists," Mr. Tan informed.
In 2024 alone, the number of visitors to Tan Trao Relic Site will reach over 950,000, most of whom are student groups, veterans and staff from agencies.
