On the morning of May 31, an official of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 1 (investor of the Ke Go Lake upgrade and repair project) said that on the afternoon of May 30, functional forces found the body of worker L.M. K (born 2004, residing in Tuy Phuoc commune, Gia Lai province) in the heart of Ke Go Lake, about 100m from the shore.
Mr. K is a worker of Construction Joint Stock Company 47, a joint venture company with Lilama 10 Joint Stock Company - Construction Joint Stock Company 465, which is constructing the Ke Go Lake upgrade and repair project.
Previously, worker L.M. K. went missing at Ke Go lake from the morning of May 30, so representatives of the enterprise and the investor reported to local authorities and functional agencies to coordinate in organizing the search.
During the search, functional forces discovered sandals, hats, and phones left by the victim on the banks of Ke Go Lake.
At about 7 pm on the same day, functional forces found Mr. K's body about 100m from the shore, so they brought it ashore.
Preliminary examination results showed that there were no other unusual traces on the victim's body, initial assessment was that this was a drowning accident.
Immediately after that, functional agencies handed over the victim's body to his family to take him back to his hometown to organize burial according to local customs.
