The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Provincial Road 325B, connecting the Ho Chi Minh road to Ngoc Thap bridge and the rescue and relief route - with a total investment of 300 billion VND, started construction on November 25, 2022.
The project is currently invested by the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board, constructed in Ha Thach commune, Phu Tho town (now Phong Chau ward), Xuan Lung commune and Tien Kien commune of former Lam Thao district (now Xuan Lung commune).
The total length of the route section that the project is constructing is 7.96km, including 2 sections: The inner-city section is 3.96km through Phong Chau ward, the outer-city section is 4km through Xuan Lung commune.

As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, with the road sections being renovated and upgraded, people can still travel normally.
However, about 1km of newly built roads have been completed with asphalt pavement from around the beginning of 2024 but are blocked by hard fences, people cannot travel.
This road section in the city is built spaciously and widely, especially designed to avoid the densely populated residential area of the old Ha Thach commune, helping to shorten distances and travel time, and reduce traffic congestion.
Especially, in recent years, provincial road 325B through the center of old Ha Thach commune has often been crowded and deteriorated rapidly, so people are most eager for the new road to be fenced off.

According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper in the last days of January 2025, the new road section has officially opened the fence, the construction unit has painted and lined the road, and installed a traffic safety system.
Mr. Vu Quang Dao - a resident living in the Ngoc Thap bridge resettlement area, Phong Chau ward - shared: "With this new road section, even if there are many trucks or at rush hour workers from Phu Ha industrial park returning from work, the road through the center of Ha Thach will not be congested, people have been waiting to use the new road for 2 years now.

As a truck driver regularly traveling from Phu Tho ward to the old Lam Thao district area, Mr. Han Quang Duy - a resident of Phu Tho ward - happily said: "The new road is very spacious and especially straight, instead of going down the slope and taking about 5 minutes or more if there is a traffic jam, now it is a beautiful road and only takes about 1 minute.
Along with the new road section, the sections of provincial road 325B that are renovated and upgraded are of great significance in completing transport infrastructure, connecting industrial zones/clusters, reducing the load on the old 325B route, and strengthening rescue and relief response capacity, creating motivation for local socio-economic development.

According to a representative of the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board, for the new road section about 1km long through the old Ha Thach commune area, recently the contractor removed barriers to proceed with painting road markings and installing a complete traffic safety system to serve acceptance work.
After completing the acceptance work, it is expected that the entire project will be handed over and put into operation before this year's Lunar New Year.
