Kien Hung Ward People's Committee (Hanoi) recently announced the listing and publicizing of the architectural plan for the project to invest in building a overpass at the intersection of Le Trong Tan street and National Highway 6.
Public location at the headquarters of Kien Hung Ward People's Committee - Lot C3, Van Phu Urban Area, Kien Hung Ward.
Listing period is 30 days, from January 15 to February 15, 2026.

The project to invest in building a overpass at the intersection of Le Trong Tan street and National Highway 6 (old Ha Dong district, now belonging to Kien Hung and Duong Noi wards) was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 1993/QD-UBND dated April 11, 2025.
The project invests in building an overpass with a scale of 4 lanes in the direction of Le Trong Tan street - Van Khe street; building an overpass with a main span and steel approach span, total bridge length of about 883m.
At the same time, trim sidewalks to expand the roadway, reorganize traffic, traffic lights at intersections and build and move technical infrastructure works and green trees to ensure traffic safety and urban aesthetics.
Hanoi City People's Committee assigned the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. The project belongs to group B with a total estimated investment of nearly 880 billion VND, implemented in the period 2026-2028.

Regarding architectural ideas, the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the design of cable-stayed bridges, hammocks, arches... is difficult to implement because of factors such as high cost and prolonged construction time.
In addition, the fact that the overpass on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway is located on a high level obscures the view, but the beautiful structure is not admired by many people.
Based on the above requirements, the actual location of the project will be built beyond the existing Cat Linh - Ha Dong railway line, the use of light steel beams as used before with improvements in the beam base curves, the main pillar creating architectural highlights has been shared by the design group.
We find this plan to be consistent with the current reality, with the requirements of the proposed topic" - Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board stated clearly.

The Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board assessed that the traffic situation at Le Trong Tan intersection - National Highway 6 is very crowded, therefore, the construction time must be calculated to be as short as possible.
Structures should also be mechanically modified in the factory, going to the construction site is only for installation and placement... to minimize the impact on surrounding people and vehicles participating in traffic.
