The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting Provincial Road 325B, connecting the Ho Chi Minh road to Ngoc Thap bridge and the rescue and relief route - with a total investment of 300 billion VND is invested by the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board.
The project to renovate and upgrade the 7.96km long road, including 2 sections: The inner-city section is 3.96km long through Phong Chau ward (Ha Thach commune, former Phu Tho town), the outer-city section is 4km long through Xuan Lung commune (Xuan Lung and Tien Kien communes, former Lam Thao district).

According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper in the last days of January 2026, after more than 3 years of construction (starting from November 25, 2022), the entire road, both inside and outside the city, has been basically completed.
In particular, the completely newly built road section, about 1km long through the old Ha Thach commune areas, has officially opened barriers (from the Ha Thach Kindergarten area to the Ha Thach gas station area), vehicles can now circulate.

As Lao Dong Newspaper once reported, this road section was asphalted from the beginning of 2024, and people had been traveling for a short time. However, it was then completely banned from traffic due to the hard fence because it had not been accepted and handed over.

Regarding this road section, people are most looking forward to it because it is a bypass road in the central area of Ha Thach commune - an area where provincial road 325B is often crowded with vehicles, and in recent years the degradation has appeared.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan - a resident of Xuan Lung commune shared: "After nearly 2 years of waiting, the new road section has finally been removed, everyone is happy. The two road sections are like arcs, if the old road is an arc, then the new road is an arc, going on an arc is the straightest, shortest.
In the afternoon of January 21, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board (the investor) said that the new road section about 1km long through the old Ha Thach commune has just been dismantled to serve the project acceptance work.

Contractors remove barriers to paint road markings, install complete traffic safety systems to be accepted. It is expected that before the Lunar New Year, the entire project will be handed over and put into operation" - a representative of the investor informed.
