Since the morning, the Da Nang spring flower street on Bach Dang Street (opposite the Cham Museum) has attracted a large number of people to take photos and check-in to record beautiful moments with family, relatives and friends. The colorful flower miniatures with snake mascots and elaborate arrangements create a space full of spring colors.
Previously, the People's Committee of Da Nang City agreed to propose closing Bach Dang Street, from Tran Thi Ly Bridge to Dragon Bridge, to serve spring activities, welcoming the Lunar New Year 2025 at Da Nang walking street.
The road will be closed from 8am to midnight from January 27 to January 31 (December 28 to the 3rd day of Tet). From February 1 to February 2 (the 4th to the 5th day of Tet), the road will be closed from 3pm to midnight.
In response to the large number of visitors, the authorities have set up many security checkpoints along the flower street and walking street, ready to handle situations such as lost children, lost belongings or jostling and pushing. This helps ensure order and peace of mind for visitors.
People flocked to the spring flower street so much that at times the parking lots became overloaded. At these lots, parking prices were posted since the flower street opened, ensuring no price increases. Authorities also set up many security checkpoints along the walking street to regulate traffic and ensure security and order.
Not only a place to admire the spring colors, the flower street is also an ideal place to capture the first moments of the new year. Families with small children and groups of young people eagerly take photos and record memories in a space filled with colors.
Ms. Mai Thi Thu Lien, a resident of Hai Chau District, Da Nang City, shared: “Every year, when spring comes, my family goes to the city's spring flower street to take souvenir photos. The price for taking photos here is also reasonable. Photos sent directly to the phone are only 25,000-30,000 VND, and framed and taken home is 50,000-100,000 VND depending on the size of the frame. With that amount of money to have a family photo like this during Tet, I am very satisfied.”
According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 (from December 26, Giap Thin year to the 5th day of Tet At Ty 2025), Da Nang City is expected to welcome more than 456,000 tourists to visit and travel, an increase of 13.5% compared to the holiday in 2024, of which international visitors are estimated to reach more than 221,000. Da Nang Tourism Industry has prepared new products and accommodation facilities to serve tourists during Tet.
