On May 8, a clip appeared on social networks reflecting the incident of a car driver forcing another car to stop on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway.
Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security said that after receiving feedback from people, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 - Room 6, Traffic Police Department quickly verified and handled violators.
Through verification, functional forces determined that the incident occurred at about 5:07 pm on May 7 at Km140 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway in the direction of Lao Cai - Hanoi.
At the above time, a car with license plate 30B-146. xx driven by Mr. N.V.H (born 1989, residing in Kha Son commune, Thai Nguyen province) had the act of changing direction without ensuring a safe distance from the car behind, stopping and parking the car on the highway in the wrong place.

Working with functional agencies, Mr. N.V.H admitted that during traffic on the expressway, he encountered a slow-moving car in front. Although he repeatedly flicked the light to ask to overtake, because the road section was under construction and overtaking was prohibited, he could not do so.
When reaching a wider section of road, this driver overtook and forced the vehicle behind to stop in the middle of the highway. After that, this person got out of the car and had an argument with the other driver.
According to Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1, the act of stopping and resolving conflicts right on the highway route poses a particularly serious risk, which can lead to collisions or chain accidents, directly threatening the safety of life of related people as well as other vehicles in traffic.
Functional agencies have made a record of administrative violation against Mr. N.V.H for 2 acts including "directing without ensuring a safe distance from the car behind" and "parking the car on the highway in the wrong place".
It is expected that the driver will be fined a total of 13.9 million VND and have his driver's license deducted 4 points.
