According to Hai Phong Power Company, in the past time, the situation of flying kites and flying objects near power lines in Hai Phong City has still been complicated, posing a potential risk of grid incidents and unsafety for people. From the beginning of 2026 to now, the unit has recorded nearly 100 incidents related to kites and flying objects.
Faced with that situation, Hai Phong Power Company strengthens propaganda, raises community awareness; coordinates with local authorities to inspect and handle violations; and promotes warnings about the risk of unsafe electricity in residential areas.
Hai Phong Power Company recommends that people not fly kites, balloons, or flying objects near power lines and power stations; do not arbitrarily remove kites that are attached to power lines. When an incident is detected, people should immediately report to the electricity unit for safe handling. In particular, when summer vacation is approaching, families and schools need to strengthen reminders and guide children to play in the right places, stay away from areas with electricity to ensure safety.
