After storm No. 3 made landfall, from September 8 until now, Naval Region 1 has mobilized nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers from units such as Brigades 147, 169, 170 and the Center for Technical and Professional Training.
The units used many means such as trucks, ambulances and necessities to support the authorities and people in Quang Ninh province in repairing schools and hospitals; clearing fallen trees, handling waste and clearing drainage, ensuring smooth traffic on the roads.
In addition, the navy also helped people reinforce their houses to cope with the rain caused by storm circulation.
In particular, the Naval Region 1 Command has mobilized 15 ships and 8 boats to coordinate with local forces to search for missing fishermen in the Ha Long Bay sea area.
In addition, units in Region 1 still maintain a strict combat duty system, closely monitor the situation of affected vessels, and are ready to participate in search and rescue and respond to possible emergency situations.
