To support people in Trung Gia commune to stabilize their lives after storm No. 11, on the morning of October 12, Hanoi City Police mobilized nearly 400 officers, soldiers and many specialized vehicles to be present in Trung Gia commune to help people.
According to Vice Chairman of Trung Gia Commune People's Committee - Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, to support and help people after the flood and storm, the commune government has directed forces to coordinate with Hanoi City Police to deploy working groups, directly go to 15 villages and 2 schools, urgently implement support plans, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Cuc - Principal of Trung Gia A Primary School, Hanoi City (one of the two most heavily flooded schools) said that floodwaters inundated the entire classroom and functional room by more than 1 meter, especially in the school gate area, the floodwaters were over 1.5m deep, and the floodwaters also damaged electrical cabinets and fire fighting equipment. The rising water has caused the school to give 838 students from 22 classes 4 days off.

According to Ms. Cuc, immediately after the water receded, the school cleaned up the classrooms and campus. With the support of 80 officers and soldiers of the Logistics Department and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Hanoi City Police, with 1 fire truck and 6 large-capacity pumps, water was pumped, the entire campus was cleaned, and teaching equipment was cleaned. The work has now been basically completed, and it is expected that tomorrow (October 13), students in the not-solidated areas will return to school as usual.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of October 12, in residential areas, the Traffic Police, Mobile Police - Hanoi City Police, Trung Gia Commune Police and union members and youth of Hanoi City Police visited flooded households to help clean up their houses, move, rearrange assets, collect and classify waste, clear sewers, clean mud in roads, communal houses, pagodas... contributing to cleaning the environment, preventing epidemics after floods, spreading the spirit of solidarity and the solidarity between the army and the people.
