On October 17, Deputy Director of the Quang Binh Provincial Tax Department Ngo Van Thuan said that, to date, 79 people in the locality are still being temporarily suspended from leaving the country.
From the beginning of the year to September 30, the Quang Binh Tax Department issued notices to temporarily suspend exit from the country for 87 cases.
Of these, the Tax Department Office announced the most with 47 cases; the Dong Hoi - Quang Ninh Regional Tax Branch had 17 cases; followed by the Quang Trach - Ba Don Regional Tax Branch with 13 cases. The remaining Regional Tax Branches had 10 cases.
The above people are legal representatives of companies that are being forced to execute administrative decisions on tax management and have not fulfilled their tax payment obligations.
Mr. Thuan informed that thanks to the announcement of temporary exit suspension, 8 units have come to pay taxes in full. The Quang Binh Tax Department has announced the cancellation of temporary exit suspension for the above 8 cases. The total tax collected by these 8 units is more than 1.2 billion VND. Thus, up to now, there are 79 cases that are being temporarily suspended from exit.
The above cases are temporarily suspended from exit from the date of decision until the completion of tax payment obligations to the state budget.
In the first 9 months of 2024, Quang Binh Tax Department issued 385,455 notices to urge tax debt collection, issued 810 enforcement decisions, with a total enforcement amount of over 7,620 billion VND.
Of which, enforcement by account deduction was in 592 cases, enforcement by notification of invalid invoices was in 209 cases.
As of September 30, 2024, the Quang Binh Tax Department has collected over 1,063 billion VND in arrears (709 billion VND collected by debt management measures, 354 billion VND collected by tax debt enforcement measures); of which 628 billion VND was collected from tax arrears from the previous year.
