According to the Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) on November 12, the SPP held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint the Chief Prosecutor of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Procuracy.
Decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han - Senior Prosecutor, Principal of the Procuracy Training and Development School in Ho Chi Minh City - to hold the position of Chief Prosecutor of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Procuracy.
The decision takes effect from November 15, 2024.
Presenting the decision and giving a speech at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Duc Anh - Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy congratulated Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han on his appointment to the new position.
In the coming time, to effectively perform the functions and tasks of the sector in the locality, Mr. Ho Duc Anh believes and hopes that the new Chief Justice of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Procuracy will continue to consolidate and promote solidarity and unanimity in the Party Executive Committee and the unit's leadership, promote the responsibility of the leader, be exemplary, and closely follow management, direction, and operation, aiming at the core goal of not allowing injustice to occur, upholding the rule of law, building a team of cadres who are "firm in politics, good at law, proficient in professional skills, impartial and courageous, disciplined and responsible"; pay attention to performing well the task of digital transformation and fighting waste in the People's Procuracy.
The leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy also requested Mr. Nguyen Quoc Han and the collective leadership and civil servants of the People's Procuracy at two levels of Tra Vinh province to actively and effectively contribute to the implementation of major and strategic tasks of the industry.
Perform well the task of advising the Party Committee and the government; maintain good coordination with relevant agencies, especially local judicial and internal affairs agencies to maintain political security and social order and safety in the area, first of all to ensure the success of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
