The Ring Road 3.5 project, the section from Phuc La - Van Phu to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, has a total length of about 10.7km, passing through the wards and communes: Kien Hung, Phu Luong, Dai Thanh, Ngoc Hoi, Thanh Tri and Nam Phu.
The starting point of the route intersects with Van Khe street, the ending point connects to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway and connects to Ngoc Hoi bridge. The total investment of the project is about 13,016 billion VND.
According to the design, the road has a scale of 6 motorized lanes and a parallel road system on both sides, with a cross-section of 60-80m. On the route, many important works will be built such as Song Nhue bridge, Hoa Binh bridge, To Lich bridge, Dong Tri - Dong My bridge and overpasses at the National Highway 1A intersection, Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway.
In Dai Thanh commune alone, the project has a large scale of site clearance with a total recovered land area of about 34,580m2, related to 1,296 households and about 300 graves located within the project implementation area. It is expected that about 219 households will have to be resettled with an area of about 1.75ha.
According to the People's Committee of Dai Thanh commune, the Ring Road 3.5 project, the section from Phuc La - Van Phu to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, is one of the key traffic infrastructure projects in the commune.
Over the past time, local authorities have focused on drastically directing propaganda and mobilizing people to agree to hand over land, and at the same time fully implementing compensation and support regimes and policies according to regulations.
To date, the locality has paid about 17.3 billion VND in compensation and site clearance support to households subject to land acquisition for project implementation.
In Phu Dien village, from now until the end of June 2026, the government will coordinate with the people to organize the relocation of 156 graves located within the project boundary to the Ma Lay centralized grave area.
To ensure smooth relocation, the Commune Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board has arranged about 190 waiting graves, meeting the burial and reburial needs of families whose graves are within the project area.
The organization of relocating graves, accelerating compensation, support and site clearance shows the determination of the Party Committee and local authorities and the consensus of the people in implementing key projects.
When completed, Ring Road 3.5 will contribute to completing the capital's trunk traffic network, strengthening inter-regional connectivity, reducing pressure on existing traffic routes, and creating motivation for urban, commercial, service development and improving land use value in the Southern Hanoi area.
