On August 18, Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee - inspected the progress of some key projects in communes of Phu My district (old).
Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc inspected the construction progress of the Phu My Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project - Phase 1 invested by Phu My Investment Group Joint Stock Company.
The project has a scale of more than 436ha, a total investment of more than 4,569 billion VND, and a implementation period of 48 months from the date of clear site handover.
Currently, the investor is deploying ground leveling, construction of traffic routes and technical infrastructure works on routes N3, D1, D4 and N2. At the same time, it is deploying a technical infrastructure system on an area of about 236ha, including electricity supply, water supply, wastewater treatment, transportation and ground leveling of industrial land plots, according to the progress of site handover.
Next, the Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee inspected the project "Road connecting the North - South expressway to Phu My Industrial Park and Phu My Port".
The road is more than 16km long, the roadbed is 22m wide, and 6 bridges are built on the entire route. The project has a total investment of 2,115 billion VND, passing through 3 communes Phu My Tay, Binh Duong and Phu My Dong.
Up to now, after implementing compensation and site clearance, localities have handed over about 9.8km of site to the investor for construction deployment.
Through actual inspection, Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc acknowledged the efforts of the investor and the coordination of levels, sectors, and localities in the project implementation process.
Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Phu My Industrial Park associated with Phu My Port is the driving force for the province's development, therefore, the investor needs to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to study and supplement to the design of Phu My Industrial Park and Phu My Port the necessary items, ensuring the synchronous operation of units serving the industrial park and seaport in the future.
In which, it is necessary to study the arrangement of areas for border guard stations, police stations, and anchorage places for waterway traffic police vessels; study plans to proactively source electricity to serve the operation of ports and industrial parks.
Regarding the North-South Expressway connecting project to Phu My Industrial Park and Phu My Port, Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc highly appreciated the efforts of the investor and related units and localities.
According to the Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, the road is of great significance in connecting the North-South expressway with the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway, thereby promoting the role of the transportation system in the socio-economic development of the province.
He requested the investor and localities to do a good job of mass mobilization, site clearance, ensuring stable livelihoods for affected people; accelerate progress, ensuring the quality of key traffic projects.
