Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Gia Lai Provincial Inspectorate to inspect and assess the difficulties and obstacles in a number of projects that are at risk of causing loss and waste in the area.
For public investment projects, there are 7 projects that have not yet ensured progress, including: the project to provide medical equipment for Quy Nhon City Medical Center; the project of the solid waste treatment area serving Nhon Hoi Economic Zone; the project of technical infrastructure of Long Van Urban Area; residential areas HH1 and HH2...
In addition, investment projects with non-budgetary capital also face many difficulties such as: Mui Tan Area project of Hung Thinh Quy Nhon Entertainment Service Joint Stock Company; Cho Long, Yang Trung, Hung Hai Gia Lai wind power plant projects, with a total investment of thousands of billions of VND, related to procedures for applying for a license to operate electricity.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also directed thematic inspections of 2 projects and works that are behind schedule, low efficiency, and at risk of loss and waste, including: the Hoa Lu - Phu Dong Quarter construction investment project and the solid waste treatment area invested by the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Inspectorate has conducted 29 inspections, with a total amount of violations to be recovered and paid to the state budget of 25 billion 801 million VND.
Some businesses have been dissolved, no longer operating; individuals have died or lost civil capacity, so they cannot recover the violation money. There are cases where the unit has submitted a gradual correction over the years, which has been prolonged and has not been completely handled.
