On the morning of March 15, in the joyful and solemn atmosphere of the Mountains and Rivers Festival, a large number of voters in Gia Lai province were present early at the polling stations to elect National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Voters send their trust through ballots
In the voting area of neighborhood 20 (Quy Nhon Nam ward), many voters were present early to participate in voting. Among them, there were many elderly people, holding ballots with faith and expectations placed on the great festival of the country.

At this polling station, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung and Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan, along with a large number of local voters, participated in voting to elect National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The voting area of neighborhood 20 had 899 voters participating in the election. According to records, the organization work here was deployed thoughtfully and in accordance with regulations, ensuring solemnity and safety, creating favorable conditions for voters to exercise their citizen rights.

Voter Hoang Huu Do (born 1953, residing in neighborhood 20, Quy Nhon Nam ward) expressed his wish that, in the Country Day, voters will choose delegates who are talented and virtuous enough, truly representing the will and aspirations of the people, contributing to building an increasingly developed homeland.
Mr. Do hopes that those elected will always be close to the people, understand the people, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people to have correct policies, contributing to bringing a warm and happy life to the people.
Fishermen return to shore to attend the country's big festival
In Hai Nam neighborhood (Quy Nhon Dong ward), the election opening ceremony at Election Team No. 17 was held seriously and in accordance with regulations.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary in charge of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term Nguyen Hong Dien and Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee Thai Dai Ngoc cast the first ballots in this polling area.
Voting area No. 17 had 2,265 voters participating in the election, most of whom were fishermen and people working in marine industries such as fishery logistics and tourism services.

To be able to participate in the country's big festival, many offshore fishermen returned early, and coastal fishing boats also docked earlier than usual.

Voter Do Van Dep (resident of Hai Nam neighborhood, Quy Nhon Dong ward) shared: "I am very excited to vote today. I hope that the elected delegates will pay more attention to fishermen, especially supporting oil prices, fishery logistics and protecting people when going offshore and sticking to the sea".
From early morning, Mr. Tran Van Co (58 years old, residing in Nam Hai neighborhood) was neatly dressed in his formal attire, present at the polling area. He also reminded and encouraged his family members to go to the polls early.

According to Mr. Tran Viet Quang - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, Chairman of the Quy Nhon Dong Ward Election Committee, this morning, 19 polling stations in the ward simultaneously opened. The election work took place safely, in accordance with regulations, and voters participated fully.

Along with the whole country, Gia Lai province has nearly 2.5 million voters participating in elections at 2,179 polling stations. The whole province has 6 electoral units for the 16th National Assembly, with 28 candidates to elect 16 deputies; 136 candidates for Provincial People's Council deputies at 18 electoral units to elect 85 deputies. At the commune level, there are 4,957 candidates to elect 2,977 People's Council deputies.
