Prime Minister: Bringing ballot boxes to voters' homes cannot bring voters to polling stations

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh clearly stated that if any voter cannot reach the voting area, there must be ballot boxes at their homes for people to vote.

On the morning of March 15, joining the great festival of the whole people with nearly 79 million voters across the country, at Voting Area No. 21, belonging to constituency No. 7, Tay Ho ward, Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran exercised their citizens' rights and obligations, voting to choose the most worthy person to be a National Assembly Deputy of the XVI term and a People's Council Deputy at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

According to regulations, after the opening part, the Election Team announced the voting regulations; conducted inspection, listed ballot boxes; organized voters to exercise their voting rights to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies.

Talking with voters in the ballot area No. 21, the Prime Minister wished voters to exercise their right to mastery in building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, for the people; wisely choose those who are worthy of representing their will and aspirations to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; contribute to building the country in the new era of rich and strong development, civilization, prosperity, happiness, and people's lives becoming increasingly happy and prosperous.

Highly appreciating the election preparation work of Tay Ho ward, especially in the ballot area No. 21, the Prime Minister requested the Tay Ho Ward Election Committee to try to organize early election voting for voters; create the best conditions for 100% of voters to exercise their rights and civic obligations.

If any voter cannot reach the voting area, there must be ballot boxes at their homes for people to vote. At the voting areas, arrange officials to support and guide people to exercise their rights and obligations.

The Prime Minister requested Tay Ho ward to organize elections to ensure democracy, safety, and compliance with the law; strive to implement and ensure good service and organization of the election so that the election is truly a festival of great national unity - a festival of the country, electing the most worthy people, virtuous and talented, representing the will and aspirations of the people to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels.

Reporting to the Prime Minister on the election work, representatives of the Tay Ho Ward Election Committee said that the entire Tay Ho ward has over 68,000 voters living in 68 residential groups. The ward organizes elections in 27 constituency areas, belonging to 9 constituencies.

The election organization work in Tay Ho ward is comprehensively and closely prepared, strictly complying with procedures and processes according to the provisions of law, ensuring the principles of democracy, publicity, safety and convenience for voters to participate in the election.

1 week before the election day, the Tay Ho Ward Election Commission handed over to voters and publicly posted the official list and biography summary of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly, the candidates for the 17th Hanoi City People's Council, and the candidates for the 2nd Tay Ho Ward People's Council.

The ward has issued voter cards to each voter in accordance with regulations, and at the same time completed the installation of voter cards on the voter software of the National Population Database System. The list of voters has been publicly posted at the Ward People's Committee headquarters and 27 polling areas.

Tay Ho ward surveyed and fully prepared conditions and vehicles, and at the same time implemented decoration and decoration at all 27 voting areas. The voting areas are fully equipped with billboards, welcome gates, voting cabin, main and auxiliary ballot boxes, lighting systems, creating favorable conditions for voters to participate in voting.
