On October 14, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan agreed in principle to transfer the investor of Nguyen Van Linh Street project, Truong Chinh - Le Thanh Ton section (total investment of 260 billion VND) from Dien Hong Ward People's Committee to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, according to the proposal of the Department of Finance.
For the project to invest in the construction of technical infrastructure works for the residential area of Nguyen Van Linh street (Hoi Phu and Dien Hong wards), the total investment is about 1,900 billion VND, divided into 2 component projects.
Including: the project of Compensation, support, and resettlement of residential areas on Nguyen Van Linh Street with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND, assigning the Provincial Land Fund Development Center as the investor; the project of Investment in the construction of technical infrastructure works on Nguyen Van Linh Street with a total investment of more than 400 billion VND, transferring the investor from Dien Hong Ward People's Committee to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for continued implementation.
The People's Committee of Dien Hong Ward is responsible for handing over all documents and records related to the project to new investors for continued implementation. The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center coordinate with relevant units to carry out handover procedures, ensure progress, and avoid interruption in project implementation.
Along with the transfer of investors, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province has decided to establish an interdisciplinary working group of 16 members to resolve complaints and recommendations of households affected during the site clearance (GPMB) of the Nguyen Van Linh residential area project. The working group is responsible for inspecting, verifying, reviewing all documents, proposing to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve complaints and recommendations.
Previously, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee assigned Dien Hong ward to urgently establish a Council and a GPMB Working Group to implement compensation, propaganda, and mobilization work for people to promptly receive money and hand over the site for construction.
At the same time, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center is required to coordinate with relevant units to focus on implementing compensation and site clearance; completing the approval of the 18th phase (110 households) before September 30, in October, the entire site clearance plan must be completed and the payment to the people must be organized.
