On October 13, the leader of the Gia Lai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board (DTXD) said that the Chu Pah District DTXD Project Management Board - the investor of the Hoan Kiem House Project in Ia Gri village (Bien Ho commune) - has dismantled the construction items according to the province's direction, to hand over the site to serve the Hoa Da Quy - Chu Dang Ya Fire Mountain Week 2025.

It is expected that the demolition will be completed on October 20, later than the time limit required by the province, which is before October 15 due to the impact of rain, but still ensuring enough time to prepare for the Week.

At the scene, the demolition work took place urgently, with the supervision of specialized agencies. Excavators and workers were mobilized, and each brick wall and concrete column was demolished one by one.

The Longan House project in Ia Gri village started construction in April 2025, under the planning of Chu Dang Ya Lake - Fire Mountain National Tourist Area, with a total investment of more than 9.4 billion VND, expected to be completed in November 2025.

However, the project was "whistled" by the province and required to stop implementation due to many shortcomings. The Provincial People's Committee also forced the dismantling of all items before October 15, and transferred capital to other tasks and projects.

The construction of the house is considered a project of profound cultural significance, expressing the unique identity of the J'rai people, and is expected to become a highlight in the space of folk culture, festivals and sustainable tourism development.
However, through on-site inspection, the Provincial People's Committee found that the project implementation still has many shortcomings, especially in the document preparation stage, consulting with professional agencies and local communities.

Notably, the greenhouse project has been concreted, designed in violation of traditional models and arranged items that are not suitable for the J'rai ethnic culture, at risk of breaking the landscape of Chu Dang Ya volcano, seriously affecting the tourism image, not in accordance with the goals of the Mountainous and Ethnic Minority Program, creating bad public opinion.
