At about 11:40 am on February 13, the Command Center received a fire report at a house on Ly Thuong Kiet street, group 75, Cua Ong 7 area, Cua Ong ward.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 5 mobilized 2 fire trucks, 1 water tank truck and 16 officers and soldiers to urgently approach the scene.
At the scene, the fire broke out from the kitchen area on the 2nd floor, thick smoke spread to the upper floors, directly threatening family members.
At the time of the fire, there were 3 people trapped on the 3rd floor, the escape route was covered with toxic smoke.

Determining that rescue was the top priority, the rescue force used gas masks, approached the area of the victims on the 3rd floor, and successively brought them down to the safe area.
In parallel with rescue work, firefighters deployed formations, using specialized vehicles to control and completely extinguish the fire, preventing it from spreading to the surrounding area.
