On the evening of May 3, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police promptly rescued a baby boy who had his hand stuck in a drainage pipe at the swimming pool of a hotel in Nha Trang ward.
According to initial information, at 7:45 PM on the same day, Center 114 received a report from a staff member of a 4-star hotel in Nha Trang ward about a 6-year-old tourist unfortunately having his hand stuck in a drain pipe at the 21st floor swimming pool.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces dispatched 2 fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene quickly.
Here, officers and soldiers deployed a plan to pump water out of the swimming pool to create conditions to access the victim's location, and at the same time apply technical measures to rescue.
After many minutes of effort, at about 8:50 pm on the same day, the rescue force safely pulled the victim out of the drainage pipe. The injured child's hand was taken care of on the spot, and the child's health was stable.
The rare accident is also a warning to adults to closely monitor the safety of young children when playing in public areas.
