At about 5:30 a.m. on January 20, a truck was traveling on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway in the South - North direction. When passing through Hoa Tien commune (Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city, about 150m from Tuy Loan toll station), the truck hit the truck of driver Huynh Van Phang (36 years old, residing in Xuan Phuong commune, Song Cau town, Phu Yen province) traveling in the same direction.
After the collision, driver Le Bui Anh (32 years old, residing in Hoa Lien commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city) was injured and trapped in the truck cabin. The front of driver Le Bui Anh's truck was deformed and the windshield was broken. Rescuers had to break the door to get driver Le Bui Anh out of the cabin and hand him over to the emergency medical team.
Hoa Vang district authorities arrived at the scene to organize rescue, support, and regulate vehicles on the highway to ensure safety.
