By dawn on November 23, the Traffic Police of Binh Thuan Province had completed the investigation of the accident scene between a truck and a tractor-trailer on National Highway 1, section Km1673 + 500 through Hong Liem Commune, Ham Thuan Bac, Binh Thuan Province.
Previously, the truck with license plate 86C - 137.25 was driven from South to North by the driver. When arriving at the above location, it crashed into the trailer 51C - 795.64 which was blocking National Highway 1. This trailer was reversing from the road to the dragon fruit warehouse on the side of the road.
After the collision, the truck cabin caved in, trapping the driver's lower body. Locals used hard objects to pry open the cabin's metal frame and get the driver, whose leg was bleeding, out.
The ambulance took the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment. The accident scene blocked one side of the road, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.
