Binh Dinh - On November 22, the leader of Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred, causing 1 death.

At about 6:20 a.m. the same day, passenger bus 50H-603.24 driven by Mr. Bui Sy Phuc (born in 1974, residing in Ha Tinh) from South to North, when reaching Km1151+700 on National Highway 1, passing through Dien Khanh village (Hoai Duc ward, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh), suddenly crashed into an electric pole and hit a woman on the side of the road, then continued to plunge into a drainage ditch.

The strong collision caused Ms. Pham Thi Quoc (born in 1950, residing in Hoai Duc ward, Hoai Nhon town) to die on the spot.

According to the road sector, the location of the accident had a flat, smooth road surface. The road had 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motor vehicles, with a median strip and an effective traffic safety system.

"After working with the driver, he said he lost control of the car, causing the accident. The authorities are currently investigating and clarifying the accident," he said.
