Accordingly, after nearly 3 hours of efforts to deploy professional measures, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Da Nang City Police successfully rescued a foreign male tourist with a special condition trapped in the toilet, brought him to a safe location to hand over to the medical force for care, ensuring absolute safety.
Previously, at 8:33 am on April 22, the Command Information Center received a report about an accident that occurred on An Thuong 3 street, Ngu Hanh Son ward, Da Nang city. A foreign man in the process of living unfortunately fell and got stuck inside the toilet, unable to move on his own due to his overweight physique.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Da Nang City Police urgently mobilized forces and vehicles of Fire and Rescue Team Area 3 to coordinate with relevant units to quickly approach the scene and deploy rescue work.
The rescue and relief organization process encountered many difficulties due to the cramped space, while the victim had a large body weight, making ordinary movement plans impossible to apply. Functional forces used specialized equipment, and at the same time calculated optimal plans, closely coordinated with the Ward Police and medical forces to ensure the health safety of the victim throughout the rescue process.
At 11:10 am on the same day, functional forces brought the victim out safely. The victim was identified as Mr. S.A.G (65 years old, US nationality) about 1.80 meters tall, weighing nearly 300 kilograms.
