On February 7, Phu Nghia Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) coordinated with the investor to dismantle construction works, tents, materials, and trees within the scope of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section in the commune.
During the day, participating forces used machinery to level the ground and clear works on traffic corridor land in the Dong De and Dong Sen areas (Phu Yen village). Previously, the Phu Nghia Commune Economic Department sent notices to related households and individuals.

With a spirit of responsibility and consensus, households voluntarily dismantled stalls, moved wood and construction materials to return the ground to the construction unit.
The deployment of clearance of works on traffic corridor land in the Dong De and Dong Sen areas will create favorable conditions for the construction unit to implement the opening of the section from Phu Vinh village extending through Phu Yen village to Doi 3 village; contributing to accelerating the progress of the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section through Phu Nghia commune.
National Highway 6 is a vital axis, connecting Hanoi with Hoa Binh (now Phu Tho) and the Northwest provinces. In fact, National Highway 6 passing through Hanoi has deteriorated and been overloaded for many years, frequently causing congestion and traffic accidents.
To solve the above situation, at the end of 2022, the Hanoi People's Committee started the project to expand National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section with a length of about 21.7 km.
The starting point of the project is at km14 in Ba La district, Ha Dong district (now Yen Nghia ward); the ending point is km38, Xuan Mai town, Chuong My district (now Xuan Mai commune).

The project has 5 construction packages, including items: Synchronous construction of road surface foundation, water supply and drainage, technical cable trenches, lighting, green trees, 8 road bridges, 1 newly built box culvert.
The project has a total investment of over 9,590 billion VND, implemented in the period 2022-2027.
